ON-SITE RENOVATION
Avoid costly glass replacement … the Ritec ClearShield Eco-System® restores stained and discolored glass surfaces to their ‘as-new’ appearance thanks to its unique renovation process!
The build-up of contaminants causes many problems and will chemically attack the surface of unprotected glass, sometimes irreversibly. This leads to difficult maintenance, poor visibility, reduced light transmission and a spoiled appearance. Contaminants can be impossible to remove using conventional cleaning methods. The use of harsh chemicals can do more harm to the glass surface than good. Sources of contamination include:
-
During construction, e.g. splatter from concrete, plaster and mortar, cement dust and other construction materials
-
Contamination from the environment, e.g. concrete and silicone run-off, traffic fumes, tree sap and bird droppings
-
Interior glass contamination, e.g. greasy, dirty deposits, moisture vapor and hard water deposits
The Ritec ClearShield Eco-System® removes contamination – both organic and inorganic – from the glass surface where regular cleaning is no longer effective. So when all else fails, renovation is the ideal solution for exterior and interior glass surfaces that have been heavily contaminated and stained.
Renovation effectively removes contaminants that have not yet etched the glass during a type of corrosion process. Even the toughest contamination – for example from harsh marine environments – can be removed successfully. The surface is restored to a pristine ‘as-new’ appearance for enhanced clarity and a cleaner image.
Immediately after renovation, the glass is protected with Ritec ClearShield® surface treatment to prevent its surface to start staining again.
Ritec-trained specialist applicators can treat virtually all glass on any size or scale. Contact us for more information.
